Retrosonic Pro Audio proudly presents: Mixing Workshop with José Diogo Neves on Saturday and Sunday, March 5-6, 2022 at Retrosonic Pro Audio studio, Põhja puiestee 27a KultuuriKatel, 10415 Tallinn, Estonia.
Through this two-day workshop mixing concepts are introduced, including advanced theory on sound frequencies and dynamics processors, room emulators and their use in mixing. Different computer-based mixing techniques are demonstrated across a variety of projects. Analog and digital equipment are being taught to understand their role in the process and to achieve the best result.

The workshop is conducted by José Diogo Neves - multi-award winning recording, mixing and mastering engineer living in Estonia - through his point of view and with highly efficient material to obtain maximum effects. José is a professor at University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy and recently a guest Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Communication at The University of Southern Mississippi, on the Media and Entertainment Arts. José Diogo Neves is endorsed by Vanguard Audio Labs, Soyuz Microphones, Universal Audio, Flock Audio.
· Use different means and techniques needed in mixing process;
· Analyze personal works and explain mixing techniques;
· Demonstrate different techniques and means for studio;
· Exemplify successful mixing techniques across different genres;
· Prepare mixes using appropriate file formats, complete documentation and transfer according to mastering requirements.
