API 1608 16 Channel Expander

The API 1608-II 16-Channel Expander is the natural way to grow an existing API 1608-II system when more fully equipped input channels are needed. Designed to match the main console in layout, signal flow and operation, it adds another 16 API mic/line channels with balanced direct outputs, motorized 100 mm faders.

Each channel is ready for serious analog work, giving you the familiar API path with hands-on control, proper direct outputs and automated fader movement for modern mix recall. The expander also comes fitted with 16 classic API equalizers, including 12 API 550A 3-band EQs and 4 API 560 graphic EQs, giving every channel its own onboard analog tone-shaping section.

In addition to the 16 input channels, the expander includes four motorized stereo returns. These can be routed to the stereo bus and multitrack buses, making them very useful for effects returns, submixes or additional stereo sources within the console workflow.

For studios already built around the API 1608-II, this expander is a clean and powerful upgrade. It adds more channels, more EQ, more automated control and the same unmistakable API feel, without changing the character or workflow of the desk.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
