The E12G brings a proper 12-band graphic equalizer into the 500-series format, giving you fast, hands-on tone shaping without the hard, processed sound often associated with graphic EQs.

Designed for tracking and corrective work, the E12G uses Class-A preamps for each frequency band instead of IC chips in the audio filters. This keeps the signal open, detailed and musical, allowing the harmonic richness of your microphone and preamp chain to stay intact while you shape the sound.

The frequency selection includes additional 12 kHz and 22 kHz bands, giving the E12G extra reach in the top end where many graphic EQs stop short. These bands are useful for adding air, detail and brightness with more control. The proportional Q design narrows the bandwidth as boost or cut is increased, making subtle shaping and more focused correction equally easy.

At the input, the Ingenius® stage designed by Bill Whitlock of Jensen Transformers® delivers transformer-like clarity and performance, while the in-house made output transformer adds a solid professional output stage. Even in bypass, the signal passes through the input and output amplifiers, keeping the module’s analog character in the path.

A practical, musical and beautifully engineered 500-series EQ for quick decisions during recording, mixing and tonal correction.
