BAE 1073 MP Preamp with PSU

BAE 1073MP is a high-end microphone preamp faithful to vintage designs of the seventies and before.

It has all-Class A circuitry and classic British sound. It has a 19-inch rack-mount single-channel 1073-style microphone preamp with all-Class A circuitry. It yields a really fat sound with harmonically rich low end and slight top-end air.

The BAE 1073 uses the same input and output transformers as the original Neve 1073 module, and very similar audio circuitry, making it as close to the original as possible. It has a 1U, rackmounting chassis with an XLR input that can accept mic or line-level signals, plus an XLR output on the rear panel.

The BAE 1073 has four buttons (each with a built-in LED indicator) to select output polarity inversion, phantom power, line mode, and the front-panel DI input. It has a rotary gain switch, with a red, winged control knob, which adjusts the gain in 5dB steps from +15 to +70dB in mic mode and a small, grey rotary control which provides an output level trim and can be used as a fader or to ride levels continuously.
