The LIGHT Pedal blends the character of a classic spring reverb with an innovative infrared optical sensor system and a unique effects section, opening the door to reverb textures that go far beyond traditional designs.

The incoming audio signal is converted into mechanical vibration by a spring exciter at the input. Those vibrations travel through the spring and are captured by a second transducer at the output, converting the movement back into audio. Even a brief impulse can create long, evolving decays, which is the essence of classic spring reverb and closely related to the principles behind plate reverbs.
