Gefell RFT MV692/M94 Cardioid 12Volt Condenser Microphone, N691 PSU

Originally introduced in 1973 as the successor to the MV 690, the MV 691 is a transformer-coupled FET microphone amplifier and a key component of the SMS 70 (Studio Microphone System) series. Designed without a feedback circuit, it delivers a clean and natural signal path. The MV 691 was developed by Siegfried Thiersch, then an engineer at Gefell (RTF VEB MTG), in collaboration with the RFZ Berlin.

Microtech Gefell MV692 has an on-board, switchable 10dB attenuation pad and a switchable low-cut filter.

• MV 691 microphone body
• M94 Cardioid Nickel diaphragm capsule with slight treble lift
• N691 external dual power supply and cables
