The Heritage Audio HA-81A EQ Elite combines two iconic console circuits into a single versatile channel strip.
It features an authentic, all-discrete Class-A 73-style microphone preamp equipped with original Carnhill St. Ives transformers, consistent with other models in the Elite Series. The preamp delivers up to 80 dB of gain, alongside practical features like output trim, a -20 dB pad, polarity inversion, and +48 V phantom power.
The EQ section is a musical and flexible 4-band, inductor-based design offering dedicated high and low-mid frequency bands, dual Q settings on each mid-band, and selectable shelving or bell curves for both high and low frequencies. With 40 selectable frequencies and integrated high and low-pass filters, the HA-81A provides extensive tonal control.
Precision rotary switches and concentric potentiometers ensure reliability and ease of use. Handcrafted at Heritage Audio’s facility in Madrid, Spain, the HA-81A EQ Elite maintains the high standards of build quality and audio performance expected from the Heritage Audio Elite Series.
