KM 183 has a very natural, transparent sound with very low self-noise and high SPL capability have made the KM 183 a worldwide studio standard for many applications ranging from classical piano to heavy metal drums.

It is a universal microphone for studio applications. Its transparent sound makes the KM 183 a superb microphone for acoustic instruments, such as piano, percussion, drums, acoustic guitar, strings, woodwinds, brass, choir, and wherever sonic authenticity is paramount. As a pressure transducer, the KM 183’s low frequency response is limitless, which makes it an excellent choice for orchestra and church organ recordings. Thanks to its superior off-axis behavior, the KM 183 works extremely well in stereo and surround setups. Due to its small size, the KM 183 is visually unobtrusive and well suited to TV and radio applications.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
