Neumann KM D Starter Kit 184 D AES 42 & AES/EBU Connection Kit #2

The KM D microphones are the digital counterparts of the well-known, successful 180 miniature microphone series. In the analog realm, the KM 184 in particular is regarded as a standard for miniature condenser micro- phones, and is one of the best-selling of all Neumann microphones.

Eight different capsule characteristics are provided. The KM D microphones have a modular design, so that the KM D output stage can be combined with different capsules. All capsule heads can also be used with the analog KM A output stage.

The S/PDIF and AES/EBU Connection Kits:
In addition to the DMI digital microphone interface, Neumann also provides „Connection Kits“ at an at- tractive price, to permit the simple connection of individual microphones to the widely used S/PDIF and AES/EBU interfaces. This allows numerous users to enjoy easy access to „Neumann sound direct to disk“, without the extensive functionality of a comprehensive DMI. Power is provided by an included plug-in power supply unit.
Of course it is possible to upgrade to a DMI at any time, in order to take advantage of the additional con- figuration capabilities and DSP functions.

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
