The R-10 is a rugged passive ribbon microphone built for both studio and live use. Handcrafted in Royer’s Burbank factory, it delivers the smooth, natural ribbon sound Royer is known for, with impressive durability and SPL handling up to 160 dB @ 1 kHz.

It uses the same 2.5-micron ribbon element found in the legendary R-121, protected by a built-in 3-layer windscreen and an internally shock-mounted transducer. This design helps reduce plosives, rumble, and proximity effect, while also improving durability for close-miking loud sources like guitar cabinets, drums, and brass. A custom David Royer transformer keeps overload resistance high and saturation low, even at extreme levels.

Compact, easy to position, and built for serious daily use, the R-10 is a versatile ribbon mic for modern recording and live sound setups.

This matched pair is bundled with the dBooster2, a dual-channel active mic lifter and DI. Each channel works independently, so you can use it with two microphones, two instruments, or one of each. It provides clean gain for passive ribbons and also doubles as a high-quality DI for guitar and bass.

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
