This large ribbon marvel of a mircophone will give you the versatility and flexibility that is needed so much in our fast pace world.

This is trully a must have microphone for any studio and it will sound wonderfully on anything from drum and percussion to guitars and amps to strings and woodwinds, and, of courese, vocals!

Unlike many ribbon mics, R-121 can withstand amazing amounts of SPL, while bringing you a warm, deep sound with a flat frequency response and very low noise.

R-121 acts as two mics blended into one: when you place the mic about halv a meter and closer, the back of the Royer R-121 sounds brighter than the front side, as if you have blended 10% of a condenser mic in with your ribbon mic signal. So if you want to make that guitar or vocal just a tiny bit brighter, turn the R-121 around and record away!
