Royer R-122 MKll MP bundled with 2 x RSM- SS1

The Royer R-122 changed the ribbon mic world when it became the first phantom-powered active ribbon microphone back in 2002. By combining active impedance matching with condenser-like output, it brought ribbon tone to quieter sources and made pairing with almost any mic preamp easy and reliable.

The R-122 MKII builds on that legacy with even more flexibility. It adds a switchable -15 dB pad for extra headroom and a bass cut filter to tame proximity effect and clean up low-end build-up below 100 Hz. When both switches are disengaged, they are fully out of the signal path, so the mic performs just like the original R-122. Both controls are recessed on the rear of the mic to prevent accidental switching.

This is a ribbon microphone that keeps the classic Royer smoothness and natural detail, while offering a more practical feature set for modern studio work.

The included RSM-SS1 shock mount is designed for Royer’s 1-inch diameter ribbon microphones, including the R-121, R-122 MKII, R-122V, and SF-12. It also fits other cylindrical microphones measuring approximately 1 inch in diameter, with a tolerance of ±1/8 inch.

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

All shipments are fully insured.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
