The Soyuz 017 TUBE V2 is a handmade tube condenser microphone built for those who want the depth, weight and refined top end of a classic large diaphragm microphone, but with the consistency and precision of modern boutique manufacturing. It delivers a rich, three-dimensional sound with natural warmth, smooth upper frequencies and an elegant sense of detail that makes it especially strong on vocals, strings, acoustic instruments and complex sources with fast transients.

At the heart of the microphone is Soyuz’s custom S17 capsule, fitted with a hand-tuned 34 mm gold-sputtered diaphragm. Inspired by the classic K67 capsule family but not designed as a copy, the S17 has its own musical voice, shaped by Soyuz’s capsule tuning, original circuit design and transformer-balanced output stage. The result is a microphone that feels familiar in the best possible way, yet has a character of its own.

The 017 TUBE V2 is built completely by hand. The body and capsule are manually machined, the transformer is wound in-house, and the internal wiring is point-to-point. The circuit uses a 6ZH1P military-grade pentode tube, giving the microphone its rich harmonic structure and smooth tube response without losing clarity or transient detail.

The standard capsule is cardioid, with optional omni and figure-8 capsules available for expanded recording flexibility. Supplied with a dedicated power supply, shock mount, mic clip, 6-pin cable, spare tube and handmade wooden case, the 017 TUBE V2 is a serious studio microphone with a deeply crafted, unmistakably musical sound.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.
