Designed for both studios and discerning audiophiles, the SPL Pre One packs the open, transparent sound of the Channel One Mk3 into a compact desktop format with two fully discrete microphone preamps.

Each channel offers a wide 8 to 62 dB gain range, allowing precise matching to anything from sensitive condenser microphones to low-output dynamic mics and passive instruments. Preamp 2 also includes a dedicated Hi-Z instrument input for direct recording. A 6 dB per octave high-pass filter on each channel helps control low-frequency buildup, while switchable Flair and Contour EQ presets provide quick tonal shaping when needed.

Additional features include 48 V phantom power, phase reverse, a -20 dB pad on each mic input, and separate 1/4” TRS line outputs for each preamp. Built in Germany, the Pre One delivers clean, detailed sound and professional flexibility in a compact dual-channel preamp.
