A faithful 500 series recreation of the legendary Trident A-Range EQ, carrying over the musical tone and distinctive shaping that made the original console modules so highly regarded.
Built with all-discrete transistor circuitry and inductor-based upper and lower mid bands, the A-Range has a character that is both bold and refined. The low and high bands are shelving, while the two mid bands are peaking, giving it a very flexible balance of broad tonal shaping and more focused EQ moves.
One of its most recognisable features is the use of faders rather than rotary gain controls, just like the original. This makes settings quick to read and easy to adjust. Each band offers four selectable frequencies, while dedicated high-pass and low-pass filters expand its usefulness further. An LED peak indicator is also included for level monitoring.
This is an EQ known for adding colour, presence, and unmistakable Trident attitude to a wide range of material.
