The Amek Channel in a Box (CIB) condenses the high-caliber input channel of a premium "In-Line" console into a compact 1U rack-mounted assembly, complete with its dedicated power supply.
Its comprehensive features include a precision-switched gain microphone preamplifier, a transformer-coupled Line Input amplifier, High and Low Pass filters, a four-band Equalization section, and a fully-featured Compressor.
In contrast to the common practice of surrounding the control room console with separate collections of microphone preamps, equalizers, and compressors, often relegating the original console purely for monitoring, the CIB offers an all-in-one solution. It is tailor-made for engineers and producers seeking a potent yet space-efficient outboard unit that seamlessly combines the sonic quality and features they desire in their console of choice.
PSU is switchable between 100V and 240V, currently set to work on 240V. Fuse has to be changed for 100V operation. EU power cord included.
