The elysia xfilter 500 brings the company’s clean, open and highly musical stereo EQ into the 500 Series format. It is a 4-band analog stereo equalizer designed for recording, mixing and mastering, with true stereo operation, two parametric mid bands, flexible outer bands and the lovely Passive Massage circuit for instant top-end polish.
The xfilter is made for broad, confident tone shaping rather than nervous surgery. The outer bands can work as smooth high and low shelves, or as 12 dB/oct high and low cut filters with resonance at the knee frequency. The two mid bands offer switchable Q, giving you a choice between wider musical curves and tighter focused control. With Class-A circuitry and carefully selected components, it keeps the signal clear, detailed and naturally balanced.
