Gretsch Model 6117 Anniversary 1961 Electric Guitar

Gretsch introduced the Anniversary model in 1958 to commemorate the company’s 75th anniversary. It came in one pickup and two pickup flavors in either sunburst or two-tone green finish. The two pickup model was referred to as the Double Anniversary.

The Anniversary models are constructed very similarly to the classic Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins model with a 16 inch lower bout, 2 1/2 inch body depth, and laminated maple bodies. The main cosmetic differences were the lack of binding on the headstock, neck, and f-holes.

This guitar is equipped with two Hi-Lo’Tron pickups, a three-way pickup selector switch, a tone switch, two individual pickup volume controls, and a master volume control. Comfortable 1 11/16 inch nut width. 24 1/2 inch scale length. Original hardshell case is included!

The Double Anniversary is a beautiful and classic Gretsch hollow body at a reasonable price!
