Royer DB22 dBooster

The dBooster2 takes everything that made the original dBooster so useful and expands it into a flexible two-channel format. Each channel works independently, so you can use it as a dual mic lifter, a dual DI, or one of each. It is a practical tool for studios, live rigs, and anyone who needs more clean level without compromising tone.

In mic mode, the dBooster2 gives you a choice of 12 dB or 20 dB of clean gain. That makes it especially useful with ribbon and dynamic microphones that need extra level before hitting a preamp or interface. Softer sources benefit from the full 20 dB boost, while louder vocals and instruments can be handled with the 12 dB setting to keep gain staging under control.

In DI mode, each channel can run at unity gain or with an added 8 dB boost. It is an excellent match for electric guitar and bass, delivering a very clean, open signal with plenty of headroom and a strong low-impedance output.

The Class A input stages stay exceptionally clean, with very low noise and virtually no self-distortion. That same clean design also makes the dBooster2 a strong choice for long cable runs, difficult loads, mic splitters, and vintage-style preamps that benefit from a more robust signal.

It works especially well with ribbon microphones such as the Royer R-121, R-10, and SF-12, but it also brings out the best in gain-hungry dynamics like the Shure SM7B and Electro-Voice RE20. If your mic or instrument needs more level without extra color, the dBooster2 is a very smart solution.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
