Tascam ES-50 Synchronizer & ES-51 Control Unit

The TASCAM ES-50 and ES-51 form a powerful synchronizing and transport-control solution for multi-machine analog tape workflows.

Designed for professional post-production and music studios, this system locks multiple recorders together with SMPTE/EBU timecode accuracy, enabling smooth, phase-tight operation across all connected decks.

On its own, the ES-50 delivers reliable chase-lock synchronization and features a high-speed timecode reader capable of tracking code at speeds from 1/20th to 100x normal playback. With the ES-51 Control Unit the system gains advanced editing tools including automated punch-in/out, a 20-point autolocator, sub-frame offset trimming, and expanded event control, designed to streamline complex sessions.

With support for standard timecode formats (29.97, 30, 25, and 24 fps) and a rear RS-232C interface for external computer control, the ES-50 / ES-51 remains a flexible, workflow-focused solution that keeps classic tape machines running in perfect sync.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
